Rest Areas
Dawn Enterprises is a widespread supplier of ash bins and standing ash trays to our nation's rest areas. We provide the keystone element for a clean and healthy environment. Add the all out functionality of natural stone aggregate and you will have products that look great and last for decades.
The first of our many useful products is the 55-gallon garbage barrel. Weighing in at a cool 200 pounds, it is more of a machine than a can. With the high volume of trash experienced at rest areas it is necessary that the waste bins have a super high capacity. Our 55-gallon can handle hour after hour of messy trash and with its dual opening, rainproof lid it offers unparalleled accessibility as well. When it comes time to clean the actual trashcan, just spray it out with a hose. There is a drain hole in the bottom so the water will rush right out.
As you get closer to any of the buildings at the rest area, restaurants, gas stations, etc. a smaller waste can is more appropriate. Dawn offers a 35-gallon trashcan with all the fixin's. Built around fiberglass liners, these trashcans resist UV fade and prevent bacteria from growing on the inside of the can. They are outfitted with a drain just like the 55-gallon receptacle and need only minutes to rinse out. Several different tops are available in a variety of colors. One of the most popular is the hood-top lid, which has a swing door and keeps all rain out of the trashcan.
Last, but certainly not least, are ash urns for the buildings' entrances. Many people need a place to put their cigarettes out before they enter the no-smoking atmosphere. If they are not provided with an ashtray, the butts end up on the ground. Dawn's urns will work equally as well in or out of the weather. This is because they are self-draining and do not puddle up in the rain. Outfit them with our no-smoking logo and you have a great tool working to keep your entrances clean.
The overall appearance of a rest area can make a statement about a state or community that will stay with the traveler. BigPlanters' self-watering planters are constructed of high-density rotationally molded polyethylene and we also offer concrete planters. They offer extreme low maintenance, an attractive profile, and come in a variety of colors and sizes to match any environment. They are large and heavy when filled so they will not disappear overnight.
The oasis planter has a 25-gallon reservoir with a hose-fill attachment. The design provides continuous soak utilizing capillary action through perforations that expose the soil to the water reservoir. If there are heavy rains, the planter has a built in overflow to eliminate over watering. For orders of 50 or more, custom logos may be permanently affixed to the planter.
Our concrete planters come in 3 sizes: 3' (600 lbs.), 4' (1100 lbs.), and 7' (4000 lbs.). Due to the size of the planters, they provide excellent security barriers.
