Dawn Enterprises has outfitted hundreds of hospitals with trash cans and cigarette urns. Let's face it; a lot of people go outside the hospital to have a cigarette. A hospital should have a cigarette urn at every door where potential smokers may congregate. Our self-draining receptacles are perfect because they never turn into a puddle of butts and ashes that would detract from the exterior of the hospital. The top of the ash urn is porous so liquids leach into the body of the urn.
Many hospitals have areas for patients to stroll and the Dawn Enterprises 35-gallon waste receptacles are ideal as the natural brown color fits into an outdoor background. The cans are equipped with a permanent fiberglass liner, with a drain hole, so they can be easily cleaned. This is vital in preventing bacteria from growing. Soft drinks can not imbue the surface of the liner, like they do to normal concrete containers, so there are no problems with bees gathering around the lid.
Many hospitals put Dawn Enterprises' 55-gallon receptacles on both sides of the entrance as a natural way for hospital traffic to get rid of last minute trash. The large capacity is handy so maintenance people do not have to frequently empty the contents. We can put a logo with the hospital name on the front of any of our containers.
A good solution that combines the best of all of our receptacles for any hospital is the Dawn Enterprises Ash & Trash unit. The 12-gallon unit has a removable plastic liner, with handles for easy removal. The top of the unit is a 10" aluminum ashtray that most hospitals fill with our natural river stone.

The planter weighs 25 pounds when empty so we can ship UPS…but when it is full it weigh over 300 pounds so it will not go anywhere. There is a spigot located on the front of the planter to easily drain the water if you want to move it. An overflow spout is built in to the top of the planter in case of heavy rains so your plants will not drown.
We manufacture the self-watering planters in seven standard colors: ice, white, charcoal, red, blue emerald green or sand. For orders of 25 or more planters we can match any color you may desire. All of our self-watering planters can have a custom logo applied to the to the sides. Hospitals sometimes utilize a custom logo of their choosing or simply put a standard "No Smoking" logo into the side of the planter.
Our concrete planters come in 3 sizes: 3' (600 lbs.), 4' (1100 lbs.), and 7' (4000 lbs.). Due to the size of the planters, they provide excellent security barriers.
