Car Washes
Car wash operators from self serve to automatic to full serve use Dawn Trashcans in all parts of the operation. Focusing on the 5 major locations at the carwash, there are opportunities for Dawn products.
Pre-wash
Many Self-Serve and automatic locations have vacuum islands either before or after the exterior wash cycle. Dawn cans are there for the trash as the customer is waiting, using a vacuum, or toweling off.
Full service
A regional carwash chain uses Dawn trashcans at both ends of the full service bays. At the pre-wash & vacuum scrub our 55-gallon peddle bin with the open flattop so staff can dispose of larger waste from the auto floor and seats. At the end of the wash in towel dry, employees use our 35 Gallon receptacle with a unique colored top and re-usable liner for towels. No unsightly piles of dirty linen, a consistent look, and a professional carwash image. The re-usable liner allows the staff to move the wet linens directly to the washer without handling or getting wet themselves.
Convenience Store
The ability to put a carwash logo as a reminder at the entrance to the Convenience Store can significantly boost Carwash sales. Conversely, a carwash site can co-brand with a gas company or convenience store chain using the logo capability on the Dawn stone products. When a fuel station and a carwash are on the same property, the Dawn receptacle on the gas island will work as well as the convenience store entrance to enhance carwash business. This is true for many of our customers that offer a discount on the carwash with a minimum fuel purchase.
Vacuum Island
Our 55-Gallon Receptacle with choice of tops is the best solution for large volume carwash locations such as a busy vacuum station. There is a small opening dome top for locations such as un-staffed self serve sites that restrict the size of trash a customer can dispose of. For a double vacuum island we have a double opening top available in seven colors to match your carwash color scheme.
Detailing Tent
Two receptacles with differing tops are the answer for a busy detail/hand wax station. The first is for waste left in the vehicle, the second for towels and any other laundry, keeping the carwash looking professional and consistent.
Car wash operators from self serve to automatic to full serve use Big Planters' self-watering planters and concrete planters in all parts of the operation. When full, our planters weigh over 300 lbs., which makes it ideal for traffic control.
One advantage of our self-watering planter is that once the receptacle is filled there is no need to replenish the water supply for at least 90 days. This significantly cuts down on maintenance costs and insures that your beautiful plants will not wilt under the summer sun. There is a spigot located on the front of the planter to easily drain the water if you want to move it. An overflow spout is built in to the top of the planter in case of heavy rains so your plants will not drown.
Our concrete planters come in 3 sizes: 3' (600 lbs.), 4' (1100 lbs.), and 7' (4000 lbs.). Due to the size of the planters, they provide excellent security barriers. We offer an array of colors, from our basic terracotta, natural and beige to salmon, grape and cornflower blue. See our custom color palette for all of the color options.
