Campgrounds
Our campground clients tend to use a combination of Dawn receptacles to enhance their properties. Most campgrounds buy the Dawn Enterprises 55-gallon cans for their large capacity and their 200-pound frame. The 55-gallon can is virtually impossible to tip over yet it can be easily moved on a dolly or with two people tipping it up on its side and rolling it across the campground.
We offer both flat tops and hood tops for the 55-gallon bin. The flat tops are gray and the hood tops are available in most any color. The hood top door is spring loaded to discourage animals from climbing in and creating a mess. We also offer a twin-opening saddle top for the 55-gallon recycling container that is particularly useful for high traffic areas at the front of the campground.
Your logo can be affixed to the side of any of our garage containers and many campgrounds put specific messages on the side of the cans to help with directions or campground information. Traditionally, campgrounds order our cans in the natural sun gold brown color as it blends into the natural beauty of the outdoors. We can manufacture the receptacle in any color you may desire.
Cigarette butts are an unsightly problem that confront many campground owners. Dawn Enterprises manufactures a series of different cigarette urns that will keep butts off of the ground. The advantage of all of our cigarette urns is the fact they are self draining. The top of the receptacle is porous so liquids drain down through the container, where they are absorbed by the interior stone. Even if someone spills a can of soda in the receptacle the top of the urn will never turn into a puddle of ashes. Most campgrounds buy the 36" cigarette urn, as it is the most readily noticed and convenient to use. The urn stands at arms height so people naturally tend to utilize the product. Our urns are round or square, in 24" or 36" heights, in brown or gray. A cigarette urn at the entrance to your campground is a great way to take care of a customer who has just completed a long drive, their cigarette butt will not end up in the bushes!

Most campgrounds buy the self-watering planters for their large capacity and their 300-pound weight when full of water. A full planter is virtually impossible to steal yet it can be easily moved when the plug is pulled and the water drained. Two people can then lift the planter and place it in another location.

Traditionally, campgrounds order our planters in the natural colors as they blend into the natural beauty of the outdoors. However, we manufacture the planters in any color you desire.
Our concrete planters come in 3 sizes: 3' (600 lbs.), 4' (1100 lbs.), and 7' (4000 lbs.). Due to the size of the planters, they provide excellent security barriers. We offer an array of colors, from our basic terracotta, natural and beige to spring green, lilac and sunshine yellow. See our custom color palette for all of the color options.
