Dawn Enterprises has been manufacturing 35-gallon trashcans for grocery stores since 1975. While many trashcan fads have come and gone we have been providing the same quality waste cans to many supermarkets throughout the Unites States. Our biggest niche is naturally New England where we can ship containers at a fabulous rate due to the proximity of our factory. Our regular shipping rates are also better than most as our cans are 40% lighter than concrete, trash receptacles.
Most of our grocery clients opt for the custom logo on their ash cans. We recess a 10" acrylic logo in to the side of the can. The logo is permanent and will not fade. We can manufacture any custom logo for the receptacle or apply something as simple as a "No Smoking" symbol.
Smokers are not allowed in grocery stores, so more and more supermarkets are outfitting their entrances with cigarette urns. We offer the cigarette urns in two sizes, 24" and 36". These buttsnuffers are self-draining, so even in the rain or the snow the top of the cigarette urn will not turn into a puddle of butts' ands ashes. The receptacles weigh over 150 pounds so they will stay wherever they are originally put. Supermarkets love to advertise and we can put your 10" logo in to the side of the butt can.
In the past, supermarkets would purchase a stone barrel and an outdoor ash but these days more and more grocery stores are using our ash and trash units to replace the trashcans and the cigarette urn. The ash and trash stands 38" high and has a removable plastic liner to hold the trash. The top of the unit is a spun aluminum cigarette ashtray that can be removed for cleaning. The nice thing about the ash & trash unit is that some supermarkets feel that the smaller trash unit keeps people from "emptying their car of all their trash when they get to the grocery store." The ash and trash cigarette disposal unit can also have your 10" logo on the side or on all four sides.
Our stone receptacles and cigarette urns are particularly nice for grocery stores and supermarkets because they can stand the test of time and they never stain. The units are sealed with a polyester coating that ensures that anything spilled on the trash receptacle will not appear. Aggregate is the best material for hiding dirt and stains. The other nice feature that is prevalent to supermarkets is that our stone cans are built to take a hit from a grocery cart and not be damaged. The cart will not be damaged as well. With all the bumping and grinding that goes on in front of the supermarket it is good to have a receptacle that can stand up to a lot of daily abuse.
