The Dawn Enterprises line of country club receptacles is designed to be as unassuming as possible. Many facilities buy our cigarette urns and ash & trash units to place by tee boxes and snack shacks and they buy our 35 and 55 gallon trashcansto spread all over the golf course.
Our urns do not retain water so they are great in the rain or if a golfer leaves a beverage in the urn. The urn will not turn into a messy puddle of ashes; the liquid will leach through and then evaporate when the sun comes out. Cigarettes are so unsightly on any golf course so the cigarette urns are an ideal place for any golfer to dispose of his cigarette. You can fill our urns with the same natural stone we use to build the receptacle. We also sell a scoop that will let the stone sift through but keep the cigarette butts for easy cleaning.
Navigating around a new golf course can be confusing, so many country clubs have us put a 10" permanent logo into the side of the receptacle that gives directions to the next hole. A simple arrow with a hole number underneath can make it easier for the golfers. We have country club clients that have put a cigarette urn on every tee with a country club logo on the receptacle. The urns are traditionally manufactured in a light brown that blends in to the scenery of the golf course. We can make the ashtray or trashcan any color you wish.
Dawn Enterprises manufacture a line of ash and trash units that are a particular favorite of snack shacks on the golf course. The top of the receptacle has a 10" aluminum ashtray that can be removed to be cleaned. Under the 10" ashtray is a 180-pound aggregate receptacle with a plastic liner. The liner has handle for ease of removal and the trash is deposited in a side hole. Country clubs purchase these receptacles for the dual functionality and the way that the receptacles blend into the environment. The ash & trash units are available to country clubs in square or round shapes.
The Big Planters line of country club self-watering planters and concrete planters is designed to be as unassuming as possible. Many facilities buy our planters to place by tee boxes and snack shacks as well as by the entrance to steer golfers toward the pro shop.
Our self-watering planters weigh 300 pounds when full of water and dirt so they will not be moved or "barrowed". The planter is thick enough that it can easily withstand a collision with a golf cart and come out with no dents or bruises. One of the biggest advantages of our planters is that you can position them on remote holes and then not have to worry about your plants dying due to lack of water. Once the reservoir is full, the plant will self-water for 90 days.
Our concrete planters come in 3 sizes: 3' (600 lbs.), 4' (1100 lbs.), and 7' (4000 lbs.). Due to the size of the planters, they provide excellent security barriers.
