Cigarette butts in a parking lot are an unsightly and recurring problem... particularly if you own a motel. Travelers arrive from the airport, and before they go into the lobby they "flick" their butt at the nearest receptacle. Knowing this, Red Roof Inns asked us to build a more logical urn, one that was at arm's length. We created the 36" urn so people could extinguish their cigarette without having to bend over. Now when Red Roof Inns are building a new motel they install two 36" urns, one on each side of the door.
