A major Burger King franchisee had a problem in that his lids would sometimes disappear. At the same time, he felt he was not getting enough advertising on the outside of his stores. We patented a technique where the Burger King logo was molded into the lid. This is not a silk screen or a decal; it will not rub off. The franchisee no longer reports "missing" lids and he has the added benefit of being able to advertise 24 hours a day in his parking lot.
